The Battle of Olympus was developed by Infinity, and was the first game from the company.
The dev team for the game was quite small, with only three members. Yukio Horimoto served as designer and programmer for the game. Kazuo Sawa was the composer, and Reiko Oshida, Horimoto's future wife, did story and graphics.
Designer Hoshimoto drew inspiration from Zelda II: Adventure of Link for gameplay. Similarities include a final confrontation with a shadow, similar character abilities, and the general appearance of the game.
It was one of several NES games inspired by Zelda II, which also include Moon Crystal.
The Battle of Olympus was published by Imagineer as "Olympus no Tatakai", by Broderbund North America and by Nintendo in Europe.
The game was ported to the Game Boy by Canadian developer Radical Entertainment in 1993 and published by Imagineer for the European market only.

Many many many many thanks to @shimo_retro_gameplays6288 , the Nessiah :D lock him in a room and after few hours he can make a longplay of almost everything :D in this case making a good longplay of this game took him a while, since this title is long and difficult.
But Shimonesan didn't fall, he continued to try until finally he managed to get to the ending without saving!
And don't forget to check his channel, because you can find coverage for some obscure retrogames you won't be even aware of their existence :D

This video is part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
