The Best Water Levels in Super Mario Maker: Volume 2
0Water levels in 2D platformers often get a bad rap, but at their best they offer unique physics, open-ended exploration, and soothing music (almost akin to a lullaby in Super Mario World). And then there is "Master and Commander," one of the most infamous levels in SMM1 and a rare example of hardcore underwater kaizo. Timestamps below:

*As with the first video, in which I managed to handily best my old world record even in Donkeymint's supremely-challenging "Throw Up In The Pool," which was also recorded fairly recently, all of the other levels showcased in this video are re-recordings--both because I try to test myself to complete a level faster and more efficiently when I revisit it, and because my PC's hard drive is too small to back up any significant amount of my prior work. However, the two playthroughs marked by an asterisk (*) are an exception, as last December's "Wacky Wonderful World of マンチョフ" contains what I already consider to be the definitive recordings of マンチョフ's levels.
**Somehow I'm just now realizing that the title of this level is a tongue-in-cheek reference to paxsman's "[4YMM] No Paddle Pond".
