In this video, I use the hovercraft (which you can auto-build for 12 zonaite as a reward for completing the Yiga Clan side quest in the Gerudo Desert Depths) to launch the sage of fire Yunobo (whom you acquire by defeating Marbled Gohma in the Fire Temple in the course of the "Regional Phenomena" main quest) as a projectile to defeat Molduga, without any need for conventional weapons, arrows, or bombs.

Somewhat unexpectedly, the mini-boss fight feels quite satisfying when played out in this manner. You have to bait Molduga out of the sand in the first phase in order to damage it, but its movements are choreographed well enough that they can be avoided consistently with steady turns of the hovercraft. In the second phase, its movement is more frantic and may seem nearly impossible to escape forever, but, since Molduga's body is out of the sand and completely exposed, it is vulnerable to a direct hit by Yunobo at all times. Finally, although you do not want to be excessively greedy when damaging a stunned Molduga, it is apparent that Moldugas have a slower recovery time than that of several other bosses, which allows for a bit of leniency when racking up hits.

Inspired by "51 MIND-BLOWING Ways To Use Sages" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQhShhlOq80 ) by @PhillyBeatzU.

(Random: The way that Molduga's AI behaves inconsistently with his description as a blind enemy with sensitive hearing, particularly the fact that he somehow senses Link going through the Autobuild menu BEFORE anything has been built, makes fighting him the "intended" way more frustrating than it should be...)
