0Another week another Into the Breach hard run -- this time dropping off of any unofficial squad tier list and going for a group I haven't played before: the Zenith Guard. They feature a science mech that loves to give hugs, a ramming mech that only knows one speed, and a mech with one really, REALLY big gun. It's like Mechwarrior all over again. How is this the first time I'm saying that in a video description for this game?
Into the Breach is the latest strategy gaming masterwork from Subset Games, creators of FTL: Faster than Light. Fight off the Vek menace in an assortment of time travelers and mechs to try and save the Earth in all timelines. The only good bug may be a dead bug, but what cost will there be to constantly tearing at the fabric of space-time? When billions face destruction from an alien menace, some moralistic questions are better addressed later.
