I'm excited to share not only a new book, but a new format with you! The chapters of this book were short enough I decided to read in longer sections versus my typical chapter by chapter. Let me know if you prefer chapter by chapter or multiple/whole length readings!

The book I am narrating is "The Blessing Way" by Toni Hillerman. It is the first book in Hillerman's "Leaphorn and Chee" series, which features a Navajo tribal police officer and an old friend turned anthropology professor, who together try to figure out who murdered a young man in the New Mexico desert.

This is one of my most challenging readings so far; there are many names and languages that I'm unfamiliar with, and even with some research I couldn't quite capture the pronunciation of some of the words...so please bear with me as I grow with you and learn so much about Navajo and Hopi culture, including their language. Reading books based on different cultures is a wonderful way to pique interest in others, and lead you down a path of self-learning and research that is truly fulfilling!
