I can see why people are so divided when it comes to the Broadsword. It has those hefty swings that deal huge and satisfying chunks of damage, but it's also slow and potentially difficult to use safely. I remember it fondly from when I was first starting out and it still feels fun to use, so I'm a Broadsword fan. That affix that slows nearby enemies on-kill helps with the slowness for regular levels, but you'll still have to get used to the swing speed for boss fights. If you're a fan of hefty weapons, you'll probably like the Broadsword. I'd say it's an A-tier weapon because it has great DPS and is fun to use, but it attacks slowly.
