The CK2 and EU4 Thousand Year Timelapse (867 AD - 1821 AD) #1
This video is a Crusader Kings II timelapse from 867 AD that transitions into a Europa Universalis IV timelapse and ends in 1821 AD. I'm not sure where to go from here; any suggestions are welcome.
Noteworthy: I've noticed a trend wherein the 867 AD Old Gods start in Crusader Kings II seems to always result in either a massive France that collapses every generation, only to reform itself; or the Muslims dominating Europe. In only one video have the Muslims been held off.
Post Old Gods expansion and subsequent updates the Aztecs have never once taken over a significant portion of Europe, as it seems they're always content to simply convert and disappear. Thus, any power that is established in the West by the time the Aztecs invade will find itself rather secure in their position. In my opinion this is the DLC failing to fulfill what it was set out to do, namely to create a significant foe for Western powers. Even in Europa Universalis IV the Aztec nations seem content to merely colonize or sit peacefully.
Would you like these to be longer or shorter? Would you like these timelapses to focus more closely on a specific region, IE Europe instead of the entire world? If so for either, comment!
