Here's a little curio from the UK. A two part game. In the arcade portion, shoot down aliens as they buzz straight down or straight across the screen. There was a second part that was an adventure game but It's not a game I have and I cannot find an upload of the second part.

Aliens are attacking the Nuclear Power station at Windscale. This was at the height of the 'nuclear' problem as there had been immense amounts of misinformation about how these stations could explode like a Nuclear Bomb (Utterly baseless but scaremongering was always a political tactic). Chernobyl showed what this type of reactor would do if run by unskilled staff, not so much the boom as the fallout.

AAAAnyway, back on topic. Shoot 160 aliens to be given a code to play the second part of the game, which is beyond my meagre skills unfortunately. More a curio of the time than a decent game but if you do track down the Adventure the code is U238 (Uranium 238 is the fissile fuel).
