Another early gaming memory. An early US Gold release, this is a take on the Zaxxon style isometric shooter only in a WW1 scenario. Originally written by Bob Polin and converted to the C64 by Peter Adams, it's an addictive little shooter where you need to shoot and bomb your way to glory. Fly close to the ground to shoot targets or climb and attempt to hit things with bombs (which is MUCH harder). You have limited bombs and fuel and need to land on friendly air-strips to refuel and rearm (turned off to capture footage).
One of my favourite early C64 games, its simplicity of control married to the 'one more go' addictiveness of classic arcade machines makes this one of the best early C64 games. Thumbs Up.
