The spectrum had Matthew Smiths Seminal 'Manic Miner', a brutally difficult puzzle platformer where each stage is a collectathon of items that needed to be picked up to get to the next level. Unsurprisingly, a slew of games came out trying to ape the massive success. Enter Anthony Crowther, C64 code God in waiting. Blagger is Manic Miner in all but name, the same gameplay (collect all the keys, find the exit (safe). As with Manic Miner, there is a timer for each level which makes each level an exercise in precise muscle memory which my old fingers no longer have (hence the one key to exit and no timer footage). If you have the patience, this will test you to the absolute limit and, at the time, was good value for money. Today, the stiff controls and unforgiving difficulty make it very hard to recommend.
