Taskset had a reputation for slightly off the wall titles and this is definitely one of them. Coded by Tony Gibson, whose games were always a little left field, this is a Day-Glo maze game with a twist. Recover the four instruments and drop them off on the flashing triangle. There are conveyor belts of colours which is the only way to get to each part. The space with a four coloured diamond allows you to jump to any colour. Avoid the notes and the thieves.
So, a simple game but execution is not great. Firstly it looks like the pavement outside a Kebab shop at 3 in the morning with clashing, headache inducing use of colour. The bigger problem, however, is the stiff gameplay. It's just not fun to play which is a shame as its a pretty original take on the Maze Game. It also boasts the best use of sound in any early C64 game. A fun tune plays away as you collect things but if you get caught by the thief the sound changes to an off-kilter, out of tune version of the music.

Still, hard to recommend today .
