Hey everyone and welcome to Purgatory - Can't Escape. Developed by Abhinavsaha(apologies for not including the name in the intro), you play as someone who wakes up in what appears to be an abandoned hospital. As you climb out of your bed and make your way out of your room, you realize that this hospital is not what it seems. It is an ongoing loop that is a consequence for the actions that led to the death of four other individuals as well as your own. This is not purgatory. This is hell.

Considering the simple gameplay, the story is what shines in this experience. It did not take long for me to realize that this is not what would traditionally be considered as Purgatory. But realizing why the character was sent to hell really took me by surprise. It is an understandable fate for unforgiving sins. Overall, it was a well executed experience made by the developer and I can only expect more great experiences ahead.
