Hey everyone and welcome to the demo for What Lives Below. In this game, you play as a whaler who is determined to hunt a whale that is more of a titan. The closer the whaler gets to the monster, the weather gets worse as you now have to also steer your boat in harsh waters. Also, the monster has lightning powers.

Though the demo lacks any backstory, the gameplay is a whole lot of fun. It's frightening, challenging, and a really beautiful thing to look at. As I was pursuing the monster, it reminded me of the PS2 classic, Shadow of the Colossus. Though the gameplay in What Lives Below relies more on strategy versus puzzle solving. The fact the demo inclues 4 monsters total that you can hunt, makes this demo one of the most replayable demos I've ever played. Excellent job to the developer, steb! I cannot wait for a full release.
