The contradiction of trolling in video game communities
0I would have wanted to have another group handle this, but their own userbase wanted to be abrasive and disgraceful as sin, proving the very point I'm generally ranting about in this video: the contradiction that is trolling in video game communities.
Maybe SOME trolling is okay, if it's non-malicious. The problem is, trolling is malicious AND in excess, which is a significant enough problem when it's rampant in communities built around video games, and that's before getting into how the video game communities claim to be the good guys. What, did the bullying by muscle-abusers that their members likely suffered give them a license to be hypocritical and delusional? If they even suffered bullying in the first place, no less.

I make a few points on why trolling is pointless. I can be sure these will sell my arguments. Then again, the VG communities' users don't want others to talk to as equals. I can hardly expect them to listen anymore than I can expect YT to become united as WaddlerD claims he wants. Whether or not he does is its own issue but yeah, objection relevance.
Of course, what do I know about some culture that has seen fit to harass a gamer girl with beyond lecherous behavior for 5 days straight with nary a complaint, follow arrogant beliefs that a player is automatically bad for failing to understand a blatantly random for its own sake system and that they should be rewarded for hiding from weaknesses, considering female characters who realistically would be DISGUSTED with them to be their "waifus", AND still claim to be the good guys when it's blindingly obvious that's anything but the case. I'm just some idiot who takes issue with a gender that is superficial about who they give the time of day toward, thinks being backstabbing BiSCs who treat honor as an excuse to be all take and no give is a valid way of life, marries for things like money to set up hit-and-run divorce shenanigans, claims to be nice in the same "show don't tell" violations that not only get ranted about here anyway but is the very reason they would take up issue with the words "I love you" for, and even bothering when they're supposed to be nice AND smart.
Certainly, I could NEVER come up with a female character who by herself fits 80 tropes and counting. And said female character could never be filed under Deadpan Snarker. Naw! That would never happen!
