The Crew 2 - The Summit "Flying Germans" (Preview / Preparation)
20Since the current summit is crap i decided to do this video. It should serve as a help to prepare for next weeks premium summit - the "Flying Germans"-Summit, where you can win the W.A.S.P. Edition of the Cayman GT4.
To point one thing out from the start. I will not show any glitch-crap here. I show only which events we will have and how you get a decent score, time, points or whatever driving clean.
I couldn't include two events in the video: The "Serial Jumpers"-touringcar-race, which is a new one, will be added to game coming this wednesday. And the other one is the mixed event, where you have to drive RallyRaid on the RX-"American Petrol Race". The results you see in this video should all be above 100.000 points in each event, even the result in the offroad-escape. We will see.
On the water-escape you have 3 options as you see, but i think the easiest one is going over the hooverdam. With a little bit practise, good settings and a full nitroset you should go easily over 5km if not even towards 6km. (Current worldrecord-holder is Bockes with about 6,2km)
The streetrace-escape is different story. Here it seems to be essiential to make it to the highway. Otherwise you won't get a score or better said an escapedistance good enough for over 100k points. Once you make it and you have luck with the traffic, you can escape very quick and drive a long distance. The current worldrecord here is hold by hu4yra with 151 (!) km. But i think the 16km i have in this video would already be good enough for over 150k points, seen how many points we got in this weeks and last weeks summit.
The offroad-escape looks like it is again an open invitation for glitchers, seen the current worldrecord is hold by a player driving an Egoista and a distance of 41km. I will not do this shit, i will try to get a good distance with Rallyraid as it is meant to be. But be prepared to see again some ridiculous distances in the leaderboards. :/
The hypercar-, powerboat- and streetraceevent should be well known. So i think i don't have to explain here that much. The streetrace-event is actually the first repeated event in a summit. The first time we had it, it was a mixed-event with AlphaGP.
The new upcoming "Serial Jumpers"-race, which you can see in the linked video" can be a little bit annoying and needs some practise. I can assure you that. In that race you have multiple ramps on the road, which you can mostly avoid by driving around. The problem is we will have low standing sun and wet roads, which makes the visibility in this race aweful as hell and you often see the ramps in the last splitsecond. But we will see how it turns out.
The mixed event should also be well known as it is in the game from the start and arguably the most popular rallycross-race. But this time you have to drive it with the Porsche 959 Rallyraid. The race should be easy if you have a maxed out Porsche. In the other video you see me winning with an almost stock Porsche. Toptimes should be around 1.45 to 1.50 i guess. We will see.
