I'm now playing The Darkening, a 22 level wad (11 for single player) released in 1998, but included under the year of 1999 on Doomworld's Top Wads. I use GZDoom source port, with compatibility set to "strict", on UV difficulty. I'll be playing the levels continuously and going for all kills and secrets.

My thoughts on the level:
It's a bit of an unpopular opinion, but I like maps with dark tunnels/caves, if it's done well and if it's not too obnoxious. In short, I like this map.
