Here i discovered a light bit of tech concerning the input for DUMA and how, on press, it can create the blocking barrie and be switfly cancelled by a jump for the player to receive the benefits of a timely block without going into the DUMA’s anti gravity animation. thus the player is able to perform ground and air combat while performing speedy blocks with this technique.

In addition, continuing to Hold down the DUMA button after cancelling the anti gravity animation keeps your DUMA “activated” and thus, as long as you hold down this button you will automatically have your barrier up while you fight enemies, greatly reducing risk.
