Increasing your damage in The Division is probably one of the most important things to the average player and rightfully so. But it seems very overwhelming right now with all of the stats in the game and their limited placement on certain pieces of gear. So, for those of you who like to minmax, what's the best way to optimize your stats and minmaxing process? Well, it's to theorycraft. Don't worry, it's not that scary.

While I won't be going over a "tier list" of what stats you should invest in, the purpose of this video is talk about how your ACTUAL DPS is theorycrafted and what you can do to easily theorycraft your own gear to see what gear combination or attachment combination you should go with. In game DPS measurements are not really great representations.

However, I will say that the following stats are the best for increasing your damage: weapon damage from attachments or gloves, damage to elites, crit chance/damage and magazine size. How you need to organize those stats is a much deeper process, which is what this video intends to cover.
