The Engineer's Code is a fast alternative to using the command wheel to communicate power. It is a set of four numbers (three in the Espadon), with each number describing the amount of power to be put in each console from left to right. For example, 0112 in the Perle would mean 0 lights, 1 shield, 1 engine, and 2 guns. Provided other players recognize the meaning, the Engineer's Code proves to be quite effective at describing power requirements. Note however that the Code does not function with bots, making the command wheel preferable in that regard.

I did not invent the Engineer's Code; I learned it a long time ago in a random lobby. This video was created for the intention of spreading the idea only.
