Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. We decide to leave the signal alone at first, and head towards the nearby sniper parts to fix our broken sniper. Our first attempt does not go well, as we try to sneak up on another gas monster. It sees us, lets out a horrible scream that drains our stamina, and a few more zombies stand up and begin roaming the area. Now we have to take an even more cautious approach and start taking them out one by one. We fail on the next run and are killed, but luckily we have a nearby save so we can try again. This time we approach from a different angle and snag our first victim. We take out a second one, but the gas monster sees us and begins chase again. We finally manage to get the jump on it, and run away, only to return and get our kill to claim our green gel. We finally take them all out, and head into the shack to fix our broken sniper. We now have a clear path to the building where Lily's signal is coming from, so we slowly work our way over there, exploring and picking up items as we go. When we enter to pit stop, we replay the signal of Lily running away from the creepy photographer. We track her signal to a doll in the back room, and are flooded with a flashback memory. We head out of the pit stop, and encounter yet another new enemy type. These ones crawl, and are very perceptive. They are hard to avoid and don't appear to by killable via stealth. One of them disappears, while the other we use our axe on to dispatch. We shake it off and head back to the safe house to recoup. We drink some coffee and save our game, and will investigate the other signals next time.
