Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we start out by entering a church to a disturbing site. We see a priest grieving over a dead body, then suddenly he spasms out and we see a bluish light leave his body. Before we have much time to process this, two more zombies burst through the window, and the three of them mob us to try and kill us. We somehow make it out alive, but not unscathed. There doesn't appear to be much in the church, other than a statue with a key inside. We leave the church, and continue exploring the surrounding areas. We end up inside another nearby house, and explore its contents. We find in the basement, a suspicious looking computer terminal. When we investigate it, we are seemingly transported to a new area. A dark and creepy underground facility, with a new enemy type, we'll call the clicker based on the sound she's making. We try to stealthily take her out, but she seems to be resistant to knives in the head, and bullets to the face. We determine after several failed attempts, that perhaps we should just avoid her for now. She also seems to have a one hit kill move that is pretty hard to dodge. We successfully avoid her for now, and enter another room which has a small tunnel leading into another hallway. We kill the enemy here, then head through the door to find two locked doors. One we can hack the panel, but the other we will need an item that we get in a later part before we can go through it. We hack the door, and enter an armory with some supplies for us to loot. We begin making our way back, and of course a questionable body we saw earlier stands up and we have to take it down. When we get back to the room with the clicking monster, she has moved and is blocking our exit. The elevator doors also open up and a few more enemies spill out. Although nerve wracking, we eventually escape with our life. We use the computer to return to the house we were in before, and decide to take a break here. We will explore more of the town next time.
