Hey guys, Altered State here. Welcome back to another episode of The Evil Within 2. In this episode we head through the town that we spent so long clearing out, in order to investigate another house that we missed before. We head in, and pick up a new signal to investigate, and a psychological evaluation depicting our own psych interview after the events of Beacon Mental Hospital. After picking up the document, things begin to change in the house. It almost seems to merge with a portion of the hospital. We see our self on the t.v. and begin searching each room again. We find a mysterious shadow figure, and experience vivid flashbacks of the hospital. We begin to feel like a rat in a maze after a minute, but the maze keeps changing. We gain access to the bathroom and see a message scrawled on the mirror stating "You can't keep me here!" Looking upon it seems to transport us again. This time we find a wheelchair with a new slide on it. Picking up the slide triggers some painful memories. We then see the doors open before us and a familiar figure sitting in the distance. When we get closer, we realize it is ourselves. We go to investigate, but are interrupted by claws coming out of the ground and dragging us down below. We awake back in the normal house, with a Beacon Mental patient dead on the floor, the words "Never Forget" above him on the wall, and our prize, a jar of red gel. We leave the house and head back into Union towards an event where we see a woman running from more zombies. We begin taking them out one by one so we can run in and talk to her. We find out she has amnesia, and doesn't remember how she got there, or even remember her husband. She doesn't even know her name or the date. We ask her a series of questions, but don't actually get much information out of her. We leave her be, after raiding all of her stuff. We head back to the safe house and have a chat with Kidman before ending the episode. We will pick up here next time and head into the Marrow.
