2006 saw the releases of two B-Daman games in a 3-month span to ride the wave of its anime airing around the same time. For the first time, English-speaking audiences got to see what this Bomberman spin-off had to offer. Even 16 years later, both the original and Fire Spirits are still incredibly fun.

The franchise is surprisingly still going, but has yet to make another attempt at putting out games beyond some phone apps. It's a shame. These two Gameboy Advance titles had a lot to offer. With some refinement, the easily could have found a firm spot in the competitive gaming space.
