The Forest Quartet playthrough | 4K Walkthrough
It’s not often a game can be described as lovely, but this game is lovely. It’s very easy going, no puzzles too taxing, not much danger in getting lost for hours, even though there are no direction markers. The story is very endearing, with the voice acting very authentic. I’m not sure if the audio footage is from real interviews or just excellent voice acting as the dialogue flows so naturally.
It’s a nice story where you play a ghost that is protecting your band mates that are mourning your loss and going through some mental issues of their own. You start to feel like you know the bandmates and sympathise with them, which is an incredible accomplishment in a game that is little over an hour long.
I like the fact that it is short and doesn’t overstay its welcome. It’s not complicated gameplay. They use each gimmick to complete puzzles enough so that you don’t keep doing the same type of puzzle before moving on to the next puzzle gimmick. Well worth a play.
