Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent developed by The Chinese Room (makers of Dear Esther). Leaning more on narrative than survival to create a horror ambience, A Machine for Pigs engages similar themes to Dark Descent set in Industrial Revolution Era London instead of a gothic castle. Our children have been trapped far below the surface with Frankenstein'd PigMen and a mysterious caller is our only contact in racing down to save them, restarting sabotaged machinery along the way.
