Minecraft. Do I even need to write anything here? It's the phenomenon that took the world with storm and is still going strong. First made by Swedish duo Markus "Notch" Persson and Jakob Porsér back in 2009, it is the adventure that's never the same. With it's blocky, low-poly looking graphics and incredible freedom of the player, it's the never ending game where you choose what you want to do. Do you want to survive and become more powerful the more things you find and make? Go ahead and do that! Do you want to just build, build and build things? Go ahead and do that! Do you want to just go around exploring? Go ahead and do that! Just do whatever you like!
The game is completely made up by blocks, most of which can be "mined" and picked up, to be placed somewhere else. There are many different types of blocks and they've all got different attributes. There are also animals and other creatures in the randomly generated world that you play in. Some of them wishes harm upon you and will try to kill you, and a few will act more neutrally towards you. There is simply too much about this game for me to write in the description, so just watch my series instead. See how I survive in my new world in this game that I've not played actively for years!
