At last, I've managed to arrange and present yet another review for the masses! Despite being tragically the final I'll offer this year, EXPECT WAY MORE FOLLOWING MY TRIUMPHANT RETURN FROM MAGFest!

Originally titled 'SOL-FEACE', this WolfTeam shmup debuted on the X68000 back in late 1990 and ported worldwide to the Sega CD, featuring narration by a pre-Toonami Steve Blum; but the version we're looking at is the retitled Genesis port! Set in the year 3300, human technology has upped the ante when the A.I. circuit has been developed & utilized for the newly-created GCS-WT supercomputer, existing solely for the unification of every human society through diplomacy. However, the GCS-WT turns said societies into a dystopia upon becoming an all-powerful dictator in control of all military actions as the supercomputer sees fit, thus oppressing all humankind of various liberties - meaning that those who opposed the supercomputer would be slaughtered upon recognition.

The noted scientist Edwin Feace (aka Deace, hence the title) has successfully arranged a campaign rebelling against the dreaded supercomputer, thus fleeing and stationing himself near a planet awaiting colonization, Cilius. Settling there, Edwin established a resistance group for his campaign and developed / crafted the titular, multi-directional / dual-occupant space fighter to once and for all end the human suppression caused by GCS-WT...and was eventually eradicated with other colonists under its command in a violent manhunt before the ship could be mass-produced. Now the fate of the universe rests in the hands of 2 hopeful crew members of SOL-FEACE (aka SOL-DEACE), pilot Eric Williams and gunner Misao Hatanaka - as they set out to crush the GCS-WT and every other guardian that stand in its way!
