We teamed up with Chris from 2d Game Art Guru to produce a Kraken sprite, using the open source programs Inkscape and Krita. In his part, Chris designs the monster and draws its various body parts using the free vector drawing program Inkscape. In this tutorial, I pick up where Chris left off and paint over his monster to produce the final sprite.
