Exactly 1 year ago today, Naughty Dog Released The Last Of Us Part II, and on that same day online wars erupted about some video game and how much people hated or loved it huh what a weird coincidence.

I didn’t have the time (or frankly, the power to rewatch that Joel death scene 100 times while editing) to make a video back then, but the games one year anniversary seemed like a good time to give my own personal takes on the controversial sequel, and more importantly to try and explore the parallels between the stories of the three main characters, because as far as I’m aware coverage on the exact parallels of the story is sparse considering how big of a role I feel it has on the narrative. I hope you guys enjoy the video, whether you agree or not, and hopefully the conversation around this game is a little tamer now that a year has passed.
