*Warning! - I may rant on about the story in the description so be aware there might be spoilers there if you read through it.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

You can head to the following site to keep up with the latest news regarding the hack and download the latest version of it:

ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.

In this video, it's time to deal with an evil boss, Galagar, and the nasty gimmick that will certainly get someone killed if you're not expecting it.

Lots of little edits here, but basically I failed rather badly on a few occasions during attempts to record this map, all of which will be shown in a bonus video after I get this one posted.

Mostly, you'll want to decide on what weapons you'll need for this map and the final three maps and sell the rest off. Bring in someone with the Member's Card too.

As the map kicks off, Kelik gets a visit from a close ally of his. He brings Kelik one hell of a weapon, Arectaris. This weapon is a beast, sporting multiple uses, high stat boosts (+3 str/skl, +10 speed), and is a 1-2 range weapon.

But besides that and after everyone in your current party says a few lines basically amounting to "We will win this!", it's time to kick the map off.

First, you might want to check Galagar's stats, namely his speed, magic, and most importantly, avoid. Galagar will be unhittable with that 180+ avoid rate of his.

His gimmick? He does like to teleport and will try to warp all around the map in an attempt to kill someone. Considering his stats, he is very capable of doing just that.

The catch to his gimmick though...he has a specific pattern to where he warps. Once you figure that pattern out, it's just a matter of speedrunning it to the NE corner of the map with Kelik or Anakin and sending another unit towards the throne room.

The way this usually plays out for me though, Galagar is sure to be too close in range to any units you send east at the start. To correct this, you can employ Rana or Yue with the Munio tome (gained from a Druid drop in the previous chapter).

Munio is weak and has limited uses, but it's main focus is the stat boosts. It increases luck, defense, and resistance by 20 points each. This turns your Druid into a tank that will get nicked by the heaviest of attacks, even those utilized by Galagar.

Of course, do not forget about the other enemies on this map. There are two siege tome jerks with Thunderbolt and another one with Eclipse. Be very careful that you don't get a low resistance character in range of both the Eclipse and a Thunderbolt user or you could be in trouble.

Now, part of the reason I go east and book it to the NE...after several turns, two green army units appear, Frederick & Rachel. Kelik or Anakin can recruit Frederick, then you can use him to recruit Rachel.

Here's the problem...Rachel is rather frail and there's two very strong units right next to where they pop up. If those two units are still alive when the enemy turn starts, Rachel is dead for sure.

Frederick...if Gary was all about offense, Frederick the General is geared towards defense. He won't be able to put out the kind of damage Gary can, but he can tank with his capped defense and 20 resistance.

Rachel, as stated, is frail as hell and damn near useless at this point. Her only redeeming factor is that she packs the S rank bow, Phosphora. Like Leviathan, it boosts speed by 5, but unlike Leviathan, Phosphora is not heavy, but rather very light.

In any case, getting near the throne room causes Galagar to retreat to it and unleash his full power, summoning multiple new units into the fray and Galagar getting proper stats himself.

To deal with the new units he brought in, you could utilize the Craze staff from a treasure chest and berserk some of the more powerful units and watch the carnage unfold. Drawing them out one or two at a time works just as well though if you need that extra kick of experience.

Before you engage Galagar for good, make sure every other enemy is defeated. You'll get Secret #4 if you kill all other enemies before you kill Galagar.

Speaking of Galagar, his avoid has gone from the unhittable 180s to around 90-100. His other stats are scary high though. Be extremely sure that your selected character cannot get doubled in any fashion by one of Galagar's four magic tomes or you're losing that character for sure.

You score four S rank tomes upon Galagar's defeat. Pretty damn nice I must say.

Afterwards, more scenes, then getting whisked away to the game's finale of maps.
