*Warning! - I may rant on about the story in the description so be aware there might be spoilers there if you read through it.*

The Last Promise was created by Blazer and is a hack for Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword. This hack is a full length adventure filled with danger, some new items & classes as well as music, and a very well balanced difficulty curve.

You can head to the following site to keep up with the latest news regarding the hack and download the latest version of it:

ROM should be easy enough to find on your own.

Alrighty, going into the final series of battles here!

Preparations for this map are simple, you need to bring your Restore staves and you should bring either Yue or Rana and arm either one with Solstice.

Also, Kelik needs to have Arectaris with a bunch of uses left (Use Hammerne during this map to repair it if need be) and at least two full packs of Elixirs as well as the Iron Rune. He must not use any of those Elixirs during this map as he will need them for the next part of the finale.

Bringing along Althares, Shadow, or someone with Door Keys is needed to unlock the northern door leading towards a few bosses.

Yes, this map is all about boss slaying. This is nowhere near as hard as chapter 27, but you do need to kill all 5 bosses within 11 turns to get Secret #5 so you have to split up into 3 parties so you can be sure you get all of the bosses killed in time.

Starting out, your biggest concern is through the northern door. Get it unlocked, then go engage Apollo first.

Apollo is by far the most dangerous of the bunch, sporting 28 magic and 26 speed and some nasty tomes, namely Elfire & Meteor. He needs to die on the first or second turn so you don't have to panic about his long range capabilities. Thankfully his defenses aren't anything to be worrying about.

Next to Apollo is Viola. She has Fimbulvetr which might be scary, but her offensive stats are nowhere near as impressive as Apollo's. She does have a Seal staff on her though so watch it with your mages.

Down in the SW part of the map is Nyros. He has no real offensive power to be speaking of because he uses Munio, meaning instead of being an offensive powerhouse, he's going to try to tank and slow you down.

The solution to this? Solstice. Might as well pierce that resistance of his and laugh in the face of Munio.

At the SE is Marion. He's decent on the offensive front, but he has the very dangerous Craze staff which induces berserk on a single target in range, provided it hits. This is the real reason you need Restore staves as Viola's Seal staff really isn't going to amount to much more than annoyance, but getting one of your power units berserked could spell disaster.

Of course, if said berserked unit could reach Marion on the 2nd turn, then pull everyone else out of range (if they can get out of your berserked units range) and let that one deal with Marion. So long as you keep him or her healed, you'll be fine.

The final target in this map is King Louis himself located north of where Apollo & Viola are.

Louis is a joke compared to Galagar. Granted he does have very high physical strength and 35 defense plus the throne providing a couple more points of defense, but his speed is a lovely 22, meaning you have more options for people that want to double him. Just lay into him with your strongest attacks and he will fall over.

I like how Marion's plan to berserk Karina basically blew up in his face. Berserk she did become, but fly towards my party she did not, heh.
