Recently there has been lots of fuss made about the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in France. Or at least, one performance in particular. Christians across Twitter and YouTube, and in real life, have been protesting and complaining that Christianity was mocked by the scene in the opening ceremony. In this video I look at why I think there was no mocking of Christians or Christianity going on. And why the performance being complained about was actually a very smart, and very fitting, homage to the Greek origins of the Olympics.
