Well, that was dumb of me. Yea, I spent the first hour not knowing what I was supposed to do. But hey, I figured it out! And all I needed to figure out was that one, as the rest of the parts fell into place. The last two dungeons could probably have been done in reverse order. And, honestly, there's a bit of a let-down with the last few items that they are not used anywhere but the dungeon they are in. The shield is "needed" to get past the flame... if you don't rooster over it. But the second bracelet or the wand? Nothing that I've found. The final boss had several forms, requiring you to try out a few things. Alright, including the wand. But overall isn't difficult. Mostly because it's so long that if it did actual damage it'd be almost impossible to defeat.

But the Wind Fish has woken, the dream has ended. This game still holds up. These graphics still hold up. To me, I like them more than the Switch graphics. The style of the 3D graphics doesn't suit me, whereas here the pixels look amazing, even now thirty years later. From the original release anyway. As for the fan port? Well, it does break a few things, and I found some crashes, softlocks, etc. And it doesn't really add anything to the game. Nice lighting effects, and making the world more open rather than a screen at a time. But no new content, like the other fan games I'd played lately. Then again, I'm not sure what they COULD add to this game without it feeling tacked on. Either way, I have finished.
