Sunlust. A rather famous challenge map pack. The levels are all designed to be able to be completed pistol started, and to challenge your skills.

I'm not doing that. No, I wanted to get a look at this map pack for myself - though I admit I was expecting more slaughter style maps (those will come, I'm sure of it). I wanted to use that as an excuse to showcase a weapon mod. Gun Bonsai. It's a mod that lets you level up your weapons, and yourself. Thus letting you get more and more powerful as you kill. Hence the desire for slaughter maps, with lots of enemies to wade through.

I'm in this to have FUN. And experience the maps my way. And these maps are pretty amazing. The aesthetic is kinda like being inside Tron at points. Lots of colored lights on walls all over. The levels have had a few kill box traps set up - and if I weren't using Gun Bonsai I'd be in a world of hurt - but nothing I think is really unfair. Just challenging. So far, anyway. It's still early in and the maps ramp up in difficulty, like a good campaign should. And so far, this is a good campaign.
