Dusk HD playthrough Episode 2 Part 1
And back to Dusk. I asked for the game to get harder, and it does. Some new enemies, like, well I'm not sure the actual name, but we've started calling them 'wendigos'. Invisible until you hit them, though you can see tracks they make, and can hear them. They are a very interesting touch. The level designs are quite striking here, with The Infernal Machine and The Escher Labs in particular standing out. Very good stuff. Though, I will admit, I'm having trouble seeing where doors are in this game. Apparently that's an HD issue. A shame, really. Doors need to pop, be visually distinctive. Also discovered a few power-ups inspired by other games. One that stops time when you aren't moving. Perhaps the text when you pick it up says what they do, but the text is largely unreadable to me. At the top of the screen and it seems semi-transparent, gets lost in the darkness of a lot of the maps. Quake had text that would put it right in your view, though smaller, but it visually popped. Was unmistakable. Here? Not so much. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
