Welcome back to Part 17 of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time"!

So far, I've collected 22 Pieces of Heart, obtained 49 Gold Skulltula Tokens, got three Bottles, learned nine Ocarina songs, etc.!

Last time, I conquered the Ice Cavern; inside, I got the Iron Boots and we learned the Serenade of Water from Sheik.

Now that I collected these boots, I will start by wearing them, as well as the Zora Tunic, and using everything to go underwater. Below is another Piece of Heart. So far, this is Heart Piece #23, and I need one more to complete Heart Container #6 to go with the 13 from earlier (three that we started with and 10 for defeating the previous bosses). After getting this Heart Piece, I will return to the Kokiri Tunic and taking off the boots. From that point, I will return to the top of Zora's Domain and head for the frozen waterfall. Beside it is a Gold Skulltula, defeating it will give me Token #50.

Now, I will dive down and take the warp from Zora's River to the Lost Woods, then quickly talk to Mido. Link explains to him that Saria will never return, then Mido apologizes to Link for being mean to him. Next, I will leave the Lost Woods and go to the Kokiri Shop, where I will quickly buy Arrows, then leave. Following that, I will leave the forest.

Next, I will play Epona's Song in Hyrule Field to call the horse, then travel with her until I reach the entrance near Kakariko Village. Once there, I will go to the House of Skultula; for collecting 50 Gold Skulltula Tokens, I will rescue the fifth and final victim upon collecting 10 Tokens every time. As a reward for freeing this victim of the Spider's Curse, he rewards Link with another Piece of Heart. With Heart Piece #24 collected, I now have 14 hearts overall (with 6 Heart Containers completed, courtesy of collecting each Heart Piece).

Now, I quickly exit the village and wait a few seconds until morning, then go to the Shooting Gallery. I fail twice (with one free retry), then when I succeed, the owner will reward me with a Big Quiver; this quiver will increase my maximum capacity of Arrows on my Fairy Bow by 10, from 30 to 40. Now, I will depart from the village and go with Epona around Hyrule Field. There are very specific holes that I will enter scattered all around the field.

Of these holes, first I will use the Megaton Hammer to break open the rock, then use it again to open the hole. Once below, I will use Din's Fire to burn the spider webs, then go to where there is a cow and a Gold Skulltula. I have now collected 51 Tokens overall; from there, I will exit this hole, then go to the hole near Lake Hylia's entrance. Inside, I will attack the Deku Scrub; he will offer a Piece of Heart in exchange for 10 Rupees.

With Heart Piece #25 collected, I will get lost for a few seconds, then move on to the hole near the castle moat, some trees and bushes are; inside this hole, I will defeat the Tektite enemy, then use the Zora Tunic and the Iron Boots to collect Heart Piece #26 below. Once done, I will exit that hole and, while on horseback with Epona one more time, I will return to Lake Hylia.

I will wear the Zora Tunic and Iron Boots one more time as I go deep, submerged in the lake. I will use the Hookshot to release the object blocking the entrance to the Water Temple, then go inside. This concludes Part 17!

Next time in Part 18, I will conquer the Water Temple; I will meet Princess Ruto of the Zoras, complete everything 100% inside, and defeat the boss of the dungeon.
