The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Japanese Version (Part 26)
We are now in Part 26 of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time", as I continue playing the Japanese Version!
So far, I've done the following:
1. All 12 Ocarina songs
2. All four Bottles
3. 99 Gold Skulltulas (I have only one more to collect)
4. All 36 Heart Pieces
Last time, I conquered the entire Spirit Temple (including getting the Silver Gauntlets, getting the Mirror Shield, and even defeating Twinrova; the two witches, Kotake and Koume, happened to be the bosses of the temple). However, I had forgotten to collect the final Heart Container for defeating them.
Also, I've awakened the six Wise Ones in the Chamber of the Sages. I am now supposed to go back to the Temple of Time; however, I will not do that yet.
To commence Part 26, I will re-enter the Spirit Temple so that I could collect the missing Heart Container. After that, I will play the Nocturne of Shadow to warp to the Graveyard, then go to Kakariko Village; there, I will fill an Empty Bottle with a Blue Fire and I will also buy some Deku Nuts. Afterwards, I will warp from the village to the Sacred Forest Meadow using the Minuet of Forest.
I will completely exit the Lost Woods and into the Kokiri Forest; here, I will quickly buy some more Arrows, then completely leave the forest. As I enter Hyrule Field, I will call the horse with Epona's Song and, while on horseback, I will head for the Training Ground in Gerudo's Fortress.
I must pay 10 Rupees to enter, then I must complete every task in each room. There are a total of 9 keys to collect in this dungeon.
Also, at the beginning, I will use Arrows to shoot an Eye Switch; doing this, two Treasure Chests will drop. One of them contains a Bundle of Arrows while the other one has a Blue Rupee.
I will start by taking the door on the left, then complete each room one after another.
The rooms that you must enter are:
Room #1 - Defeat the Stalfos within one minute (Key #1)
Room #2 - Collect the Silver Rupees within 90 seconds while avoiding traps and dangers.
Room #3 - Defeat the Wolfos and White Wolfos; also, make sure you have the necessary items to proceed to the next rooms. Use the Lens of Truth and the Longshot to proceed to Room #4.
Room #4 - Use your Arrows to aim for all four eyes of this statue (This will be Key #3 in my run)
Room #5 - Use the Megaton Hammer to break away the totem poles found in the Fire Temple, then activate the switch to lower the fire wall, then open up the Treasure Chest (This will be Key #5 in my run)
Room #6 - Collect the Silver Rupees WITHOUT falling into the lava to proceed to Room #7; be sure to collect the Small Key in this room (This will be Key #6 in my run)
Room #7 - Defeat the Beamos and the Lizalfos within 90 seconds (This will be Key #8 in my run)
Extra Rooms
1. Use the Silver Gauntlets to push a heavy block, then activate a switch to open the door. Inside you'll find some Like-Like; defeat them all to make Treasure Chests appear. Use the Lens of Truth to reveal one of them and collect this optional key (This will be Key #2 in my run)
2. Play the Scarecrow's Song in the room with the Eye Statue; complete Room 4's task shown above to open the door, then grapple onto Pierre with your Longshot. Go through the door to collect this optional Key (This will be Key #4 in my run)
3. After you collect the Silver Rupees in Room #6, DO NOT go to Room #7; instead, go to the other room. Inside, play the Song of Time to make the Blue Blocks disappear, then use the Iron Boots and the Zora Tunic to sink underwater. Use the Longshot with the Iron Boots to help you collect some of them. Continue putting on AND taking off the boots until you collect all five Silver Rupees, then take off the boots and the tunic to collect the Small Key up above (This will be Key #7 in my run)
4. After you've collected between 6, 7 or 8 Small Keys, go to where the Treasure Room is; use one key to unlock the first door on the left, then use the Lens of Truth to find a secret area. Climb up the wall to this area, then open the Treasure Chest to collect the Small Key (This will be my 9th and final key)
With all 9 Keys, I will now open every door of the Treasure Room (two of them open the doors on the right while the other seven open those on the left). After you've collected enough keys to open the doors on the left, you will reach the hidden treasure, known as the Ice Arrows. These Arrows will freeze enemies, etc.
NOTE: You can get the optional keys to help open all nine doors, but you MUST collect two of the optional keys, as you will need to open a total of seven doors to reach the hidden treasure
Once you DO reach the treasure, open the chest and the Gerudos will reward you with the Ice Arrows; these Arrows will freeze enemies, etc.
To complete Part 26, I will return to the entrance of the Training Ground! See you guys next time for Part 27!
