0The Lion King: Simba's Mighty Adventure is a side-scrolling platformer game developed by Vicarious Visions and published by Activision for the Game Boy Color in 2000. It is based on the Disney animated films The Lion King (1994) and Simba's Pride (1998).
The game follows the story of Simba as he grows from a cub to an adult lion and learns to take his place as the rightful king of the Pride Lands. Players control Simba as he navigates through a variety of levels, including the Pride Lands, the Elephant Graveyard, and the Outlands. Along the way, he must battle enemies such as hyenas, scorpions, and snakes, and overcome obstacles such as cliffs and rivers.
Simba can attack enemies with his claws and roar. He can also collect stars and power-ups to help him on his quest. For example, the star power-up gives Simba a temporary shield that protects him from damage.
