In this second episode in The Long Dark I make my way from a small cave near the Carter Hydro Dam in Mystery Lake to another cave system. I found some food and supplies in that cave and eventually, after some backtracking, found my way to the other side of that cave. This popped out in the Pleasant Valley region.

I tried to get to higher ground to see around and found a small hunter blind. I came across a dead deer and some birds circling above it as well as a dead human body. Just near there I managed to find another small cave to survive another night and cook up some deer meat.

I managed to waste some antibiotics trying to cure food poisoning. The trick is to take the antibiotics and then rest or wait for 10 hours. I thought it would be an instant cure which didn't really make sense.

I also hit a rabbit with a stone and it was stunned but then it ran away :(

I've been pretty luck so far and manage to jump from cave to cave finding food at the last minute. I didn't think I would last this long.
