Tons of things were going wrong with the base in Oxygen Not Included. The water tank overheated half the base. The growing room got too warm. Food almost ran out. Lag was killer. Something had to change.

So I turned off all the cooking stations and set the wheels in motion for a mass die off. It worked! See the very end of the video for a sped up version of the catastrophe.

After going from 50 dupes to 17, things are much easier to manage and food won't be an issue again (famous last words). Things did speed up quite a bit and my mission will be to continue digging out the entire asteroid. I'm also planning to fill the map with clean oxygen. I've only found one Puft so far to clean out the polluted oxygen. The dupes might just have to breath it all in while I generate a ton of clean oxygen.
