The Lost Art of Cheat Codes and Action Replay
No doubt cheat codes are not as common in video games now. With the exception of the Lego video games, it is hard to think of many games that use traditional cheat codes. Plus there was the Action Replay and GameShark, two devices that no longer have models for present-day consoles.
For those who have a modded 3DS or Switch you can make use of Checkpoint. This homebrew app will let you back up saves to your computer as well as run cheat codes in a way similar to the Action Replay or Gameshark back in the day.
