The PS5 and Xbox Series X will be here soon, but I just don't see much of an improvement from where we are at on current-gen.

I think this single image showing the evolution of FIFA games over the years shows just how much game graphics have slowed down improving over the last ten years.

Compare 2000 graphics to 2010 and you will find a big improvement. Compare 2010 to 2020 and the improvements will be minimal. Don't get fooled by the computer-generated footage found in-game trailers, take a look at the real gameplay.
