Loosely based on the film of the same name, The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a very unforgiving game from 1997. It features 2D side-scrolling gameplay, and has very few save points or checkpoints. I was unable to complete it as a child, and thought I'd revisit it using DuckStation.

The game was developed for the Sony PlayStation 1 by DreamWorks Interactive, while simultaneously being ported to the Sega Saturn by Appaloosa Interactive. Sega handled the publishing for that port, while Electronic Arts published the PS1 version of the game (which I'm playing through here).
