Myself and Megan Leigh discuss amazing films from the past for your viewing pleasure. This week we are covering the film which laid the groundwork for the film noir genre, The Maltese Falcon. Jon Huston directed and adapted the screenplay from the novel of the same name by Dashiell Hammett. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Peter Lorre, and Mary Astor we are shown the dark underbelly of international criminal intrigue and mystery taking place in San Francisco in the late 1930s'. If anyone ever asks you "What is that movie?", the only response is "What dreams are made of."
