The Master Sword | Zelda: Ocarina of Time 100% Walkthrough "30/89" (No Commentary)
185We finally move on with the storyline and run to Hyrule Market. We go down an alley in the corner and read some Gossip Stones with the Mask of Truth before entering the Temple of Time. Once inside we cross to the back of the room and play the Song of Time in front of the slab to have the 3 Spiritual Stones rise up and come to a rest on it. This opens the Door of Time and allows us access to a hidden room with the legendary Master Sword.
As we pull it out of the Pedestal of Time we see a message of Ganondorf laughing at us and telling us that he knew that if he followed us that he could get to the Triforce.
We awaken and find ourselves in the Chamber of the Sages and are confronted by Rauru the Sage of Light. He tells us that when we took the Master Sword, we were not ready for our destiny and were sealed away from the world for seven years. In that time Ganondorf captured the Triforce and became the King of Evil, enslaving all of Hyrule. Rauru instructs us that we need to go to the 5 Temples and awaken the other 5 Sages to help us defeat Ganondorf. We are titled the Hero of Time and receive the Light Medallion from Rauru, adding his power to our own.
Afterwards we are transported back to the Temple of Time and as we are leaving we are confronted by another new face by the name of Sheik.
Sheik reveals himself to be the last remaining member of the old Sheikah race, and teaches us about the Sages. He reveals that a girl we know is waiting to be awoken from the Forest Temple but we can't access the place with our current gear. Sheik then hints that we can find the item we need in Kakariko Village. (Note: Some of the items we used as a kid are no longer useable. This includes the Kokiri Sword, Deku Shield, Fairy Slingshot, Deku Sticks, Magic Beans, and the Boomerang.)
