We start out by heading to Kakariko Village and into the Graveyard. The Magic Bean we planted there (as well as all others we planted) has grown into a flying plant of sorts and we use it to get Piece of Heart #17 inside a crate. We then move the newly dug grave and jump in to find out that over the seven years Dampe the Gravekeeper died. We then do a little race with him but all wee need to do is keep up with him until the end, he rewards us with the Hookshot. The Hookshot will be our replacement for the Boomerang as an adult, It can grab items and bring them to us, or latch onto something wooden and bring us to it. It can also collect far away Gold Skulltula Tokens. (Note: There are some only adult link can find.) Afterwards we move on and play the Song of Time to move the Time Block out of our way, this gets us into the Windmill where we jump around VERY carefully to get Piece of Heart #18 on a ledge. We then jump down and talk to the man in the room, he complains for a bit before teaching us the Song of Storms, which makes it rain. Finally we leave Kakariko Village and head back to Ganon's Castle where we use the Hookshot to get the out of reach Gold Skulltula #43.
