Welcome to Helmod, an incredibly powerful factory planning tool for Factorio. In this tutorial, I'll be covering Helmod's strengths and weaknesses through a practical example via Pyanodons mods.


Two important UI elements not mentioned in the video: Pins and Summary. The pin button adds a smaller, less intrusive window with the contents of the currently selected production block. That window also has a "summary" button (also located on the main Helmod window near the pin button) that opens up another window with grand totals of all building types used in the production block.
