I don't know where this came from. This person said that AVGN's "hateful rhetoric" and "crude language" are responsible for corrupting a generation of young people.

I have no idea where the "hateful rhetoric" comes from. While AVGN is definitely "crude" to a lot of things, it's never a bigoted kind of angry, which is amazing considering how 2000s internet are rife with that sort of stuff, and you're not going to get any consequences doing that. The fact that AVGN doesn't resort to using bigoted slurs in his early years is actually quite commendable. Same goes to Nostalgia Critic.

And then this person showed a screenshot of James not wanting to review the 2016 Ghostbusters movie. Man, that's one of my peak YouTuber years talking about that stupidity, and that all-female Ghostbusters movie was boring. Not even cringe bad. Just boring bad.

James apparently contributed to the "chud" culture around movies. Not really. All he said was he wasn't interested in seeing the film. That's pretty much it. There's nothing about agendas or ideologies. I guess you can't hate movies anymore without making it political.
