Over the weekend a few programmers have been making progress on the soft modding scene for the Switch. A webkit exploit that is generally used for iOS devices was run on the Switch showing that the hidden browser can be used to run an iOS exploit. Unfortunately to gain root access, other means are still needed. This is mostly a proof of concept that other code can be run on the system to eventually modify the Kernel.
