0It's been far too long since me and Phil had a good scrap. He's the first person to ever introduce me to the sidesword and beat into me just how effective they were.
I feel like the more thin and delicate a sword looks, the less we regard it as a "great" or powerful weapon. But sideswords add just that little bit more finesse and a couple more options than their bulkier predecessor the arming sword.
Sidesword is a nice balance between the ages and can be a lot of fun.
Hopefully I'll recruit more people to the sidesword club.
